1. Information we collect

When you create a CardToNaira account we collect your email address, username, full name, phone number, and a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text). When you submit a trade we collect the details needed to process it — the gift card brand, country, value, card code, and any photos you upload — and the bank account details you provide for payout. We also automatically record device and IP information for active sessions, to help secure your account.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to create and secure your account, process and verify trades, calculate and pay out your Naira proceeds, communicate with you about your trades and account, and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run CardToNaira — for example with our email and hosting providers — or where required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep account and trade records for as long as your account is active and for a further period afterward where needed for accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. If you deactivate or delete your account from Settings, we retain your account and trade records rather than erasing them immediately, so we can restore your account on request or meet the accounting and fraud-prevention purposes described above.

5. Your rights

You can review and update most of your account details from your Profile and Settings pages at any time. To request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account, contact us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your account. See our Security page for more detail. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

7. Cookies

We use a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
